In Aceh, I made many friends. They are very kind, friendly and enthusiastic. Because of them, I had a great time there. At August 7, the day was the end of our first workshop, they took us to "Jalan-jalan"(travel around) in Aceh. We rent two "labi-labi"(bus). The photo given above was taken in front of the "The first building in Aceh". It's a Acehness tranditional building. The following persons are my friends in Aceh.
Ima and Risma, they two are my first Acehness friends. We met at the beginning of this year in Taiwan. They are international students and also on of E-Mate volunteers. They helped us in learning "Bahasa Indonesia"(Indonesian), translating our teaching meterials to Indonesian version. And in Aceh, they are "wanita cantik"(beautiful girl).
Basrul, he is the best assistant of E-Mate. Our workshop couldn't go smoothly without him. He helped us handling the electrical stuff when power cut, printing our certificates, fixed the computer and teaching us "Bahasa Aceh"(Acehness language). Bas, I really appricaite you for all the things you done for us. Teurimeng Geunaseh!!!Aroel, he is such a lively person. He laughed all the time and always says "I like this", "Best player". During the workshop, he found my special words "Ahmmm and Hmmm" and made fun of me. Orzing...... He was our "Nelly's group" assistant and made the group being the funnest one. Bastami, I have not idea why everybody call you Obama. Even that I still remember your real name. Haha. And you are a good learner of language. You can speak Japaness and you learned Mandarin from us. "Ni hau ma?"
Taufik, my Indonesian teacher. His name is same with a great Indonesian badminton player. Taufik was a participate of Ubuntu workshop. During our second workshop, free software workshop, we needed Indonesian assistant to translate. So he volunteered for group assistant. Taufik, thank you so much! Cut, she is also a wanita cantik in Aceh. When we chatted, she always spoke with graceful tone. I like her tone, haha. And I know she will go to Japan to be a exchanging student in September. Cut, good luck and have fun in Japan.Haris, he is a little crazy guy. He came to Aceh to promote free software. At the first time we met, he seemed familiar for me. I felt we met before. Later, he told me that he also had the same feeling. Wow, it's really cool. And for me, it seemed like I found my Indonesian brother. Sajidin, he is a participate in Ubuntu workshop, and also a member of Unsyiah camping club. Sporty boy! While we had a trip around Aceh, he told us many stories of Aceh and Muslim. He willed to intruduce Aceh to us. Sajidin, you are the best tour guide.
